Melaleuca Donates Health & Wellness Products to Non-Profit in Germany

Melaleuca recently donated $33,000 worth of health, home and cleaning products to a charitable organization in Germany that supports socially and economically disadvantaged people. The Melaleuca products were delivered to The Tafel, a non-profit group that helps people in need of food and other essential items.

Melaleuca has been enhancing lives in Germany since it began doing business there in 2012. The non-profit organization, The Tafel, recently received a variety of popular Melaleuca products within the EcoSense® and Bath & Body categories.

The Tafel focuses on helping others while also caring for the environment. It does so by connecting large businesses with European families in need of assistance. They serve roughly 25,000 people each month with food and hygiene products.

Over the years, Melaleuca has reached out to those in need across the globe. For example, the company’s philanthropy includes being the sole financial supporter of a special orphanage in Quito, Ecuador.

Melaleuca constantly provides humanitarian relief and financial donations to support families devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, floods, tornados, tsunamis and more. It has sent humanitarian aid to several countries around the world.

Melaleuca sponsors 25 schools in China, where it regularly donates books, electronic equipment, desks and supplies. In Malaysia, the company has donated clothes, books, toys and household items to orphanages. In Korea, it has donated money to UNICEF to help children and mothers, and it has provided educational resources to low-income students in rural Taiwan.
