Photo Gallery - The Santa Lucia Children’s Home

One afternoon, we made “cotton ball sheep” with the kids. We brought photocopies showing an outline of a plain sheep, along with bags of cotton balls, glue and crayons to create the background. They loved it—especially the younger ones. They went crazy with the cotton balls and got creative. They all did a really good job with this craft project, and they really enjoyed it. We cut out paper kites for one activity for the children to color. They loved this activity. Alex in Familia/Group 1 was running around with his kite as soon as he finished the craft project. He wanted to go outside to “fly” it right away. A few of the kids gave their project to me as a gift. I love when they do that! They all did a great job with coloring. When we left the last family/group, we walked outside and a bunch of the kids had already made colorful new additions and were running around trying to fly their paper kites!
